Costs and Fees Encyclopaedia: SI 2020/1001 changes

The Civil Legal Aid (Remuneration) (Amendment) (No. 2) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2020 (SI 2020/1001) amended the Civil Legal Aid (Remuneration) Regulations 2013, with effect from 7 October 2020. They added new tables to Schedule 1, Parts 1 and 2: Table 4(ca), regarding Immigration and Asylum Online Procedure Advocacy Services Standard Fees, and Table 8(ca), regarding Controlled Legal Representation – Immigration and Asylum Online Procedure hourly rates cases. The regulations also revoked SI 2020/515, which had temporarily added an extra column for online procedure (controlled legal representation) to Schedule 1, Part 1, Table 4(a).
