Farrer & Co LLP v Meyer [2022] Costs LR 399

                  [2022] Costs LR 399

Where the defendant had delayed for almost two years in making an application to set aside judgment relating to a debt claim for unpaid solicitors' fees and had breached orders requiring her to give evidence of her means, the application to set aside judgment was dismissed. The court refused to grant relief, and as the defendant had continually flouted orders of the court containing penal notices it was appropriate to impose a sentence of imprisonment.
